Any application should always include the following: an informative cover letter, your CV (curriculum vitae), education and training certificates, job references, and any certificates of additional qualifications.
A general application without reference to a specific job description is difficult to direct within Qcells and is therefore not recommended. We kindly request that all applicants refer to a specific job description and/or job number when submitting an application to Qcells.
Your application documents should comprise your covering letter, CV, certificates and references. Applications should be complete and neatly presented. Correct orthography (spelling and punctuation) is essential.
Your letter should be accurate and concise and meet the criteria of a formal business letter. One page is perfectly sufficient.
Letters of application are usually divided into three paragraphs. The first paragraph should contain an explanation of why you are applying. How did you hear about the vacancy? What made you want to apply? Give reasons why you're interested in working for this company in particular.
In your second paragraph you should briefly introduce yourself. State your qualifications, skills and experience which are required according to the job advertisement and fit the job description. Explain what you have to offer. Refer to the specific requirements listed in the advertisement.
In the last paragraph, declare your interest in attending an interview. Offer to send additional references and information on request.
Your CV should summarise your training and career so far and provide an insight into your abilities and aptitudes. It should be up to date, clearly laid out, and not contain any spelling or grammatical errors. It should include the following information: your personal data, your education and vocational training, relevant work experience (previous employment and internships), special skills and experience, your language skills, computer skills and your interests.
Your certificates show the educational and professional qualifications you have and thus augment your CV. Your certificates should be sorted chronologically starting with the most recent one.

Every applicant will receive an acknowledgement of receipt of their application within three business days. We then review the application and, as appropriate, invite you to a job interview.
As a general rule, at least two interviews will be conducted with each suitable candidate in which representatives of the relevant department and the HR department will participate. The interviews can be carried out both by telephone and in person.
In addition, for certain positions, other selection procedures will also be applied (e.g. assessment centre, aptitude tests, presentations etc.)
Assuming your application has made a good impression and the company has invited you to an interview, you'll need to get ready for it. Beforehand, study the job advertisement and your application again so that you know exactly what the company is looking for and how you presented yourself. Check the route to the company and the necessary travel time in advance. Allow yourself enough time to arrive calmly – don't forget that punctuality is a sign of reliability. Before the interview, find out about the company. Knowing something about its structure, product portfolio and departments will work in your favour. Make sure your appearance and your dress are appropriate and tidy. Write down the name of your interviewer beforehand and talk to him or her by name. Maintain eye contact with your interviewer and speak loudly and clearly. Act confidently without being overmodest – but don't overdo it! Prepare yourself for the following questions:
